DetailsClient Name Piedmont Augusta Hospital Job Type Travel Offering Nursing Profession Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty Tele Job ID 36000072 Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) - Tele Weekly Pay $1752.36 Shift DetailsShift Nights - 3 x 12 Scheduled Hours 36 Job Order DetailsStart Date 03/23/2026 End Date 06/29/2026 Duration 14 Week(s) Job Description ROLE - SPECIALTY Registered Nurse - Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit Schedule Weekends: Every other weekend Assignment Details Census/Capacity: 36 rooms/beds, average daily census ~35 Ratio: 1:4-5 Requirements - Minimum 2 years RN experience (1st-time travelers accepted) - Telemetry/PCU experience preferred - BLS and ACLS certifications required (NIHSS preferred) - GA or Compact RN license must be in hand at the time of submittal - Experience managing specified cardiac/vasoactive drips (no titration) - Charting system: Epic required Roles & Responsibilities - Monitor patients through cardiac telemetry, interpreting dysrhythmias and managing care. - Provide post-cardiac cath/angiogram and post-MI care. - Administer medications, including managing lines (peripheral, central, PICC) and blood product administration. - Deliver respiratory support using available devices (HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP) and manage oxygen therapy. - Perform wound care, feeding tube care, trach care, and chest tube management. - Interpret ABGs and respond to critical values appropriately. Compliance / Notes - Orientation: 12 hours (plus modules/non-billable orientation hours per contract length) - Maximum 7 days Request Time Off (RTO) with submission; RTO blackout during Spring Break (April 4-12) - If 1-2 major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work them; specific rules apply if 3 major holidays occur. - Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance can delay start by 2 weeks.
