The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills What You will Do: • Strong software engineering fundamentals and problem-solving ability • Hands-on experience in: o Feature development and enhancements o Debugging and deep root-cause analysis o Infrastructure and build environment setup o Ability to navigate and contribute to large, complex codebases o Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional Android teams in an agile environment o Strong communication and teamwork skills in a global engineering setup What You Will Bring: • Minimum 3+ years of software development experience in Automotive Infotainment systems • Strong programming skills in C and C++ • Domain expertise in Android-based Automotive Infotainment, with emphasis on Android HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) • Experience working across: o Framework & Application layer development o Core service applications such as Bluetooth, Camera, Sensors, Media, etc. o Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows Preferred Technical Exposure • Exposure to Cloud & DevOps technologies (any of the following): • GCP, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes • Experience with large-scale software development and deployment across one or more of the following: • Android / Android Automotive OS • iOS • Embedded systems • Linux/Kernel-level development • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and automated testing is a plus Pay Range: $60/hour- $74/hour Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan. Work Requirements: This role is considered an on-site position located in San Diego,CA. You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
