Recruiter/HR Generalist

Snapshot / Role Overview We're seeking a Recruiter/HR Generalist in Cincinnati, OH to support talent acquisition and human resources functions for a commercial construction company. Impact • Drive company growth by recruiting skilled tradespeople and professionals • Support employee retention through positive HR practices and programs • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies • Build company culture through effective onboarding and employee engagement Responsibilities • Manage full-cycle recruiting for skilled trades and professional positions • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and networking • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions • Administer onboarding process for new hires • Maintain employee files and HR documentation • Support benefits administration and open enrollment • Assist with performance review processes and employee relations • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations Requirements Must-Haves • 3+ years of recruiting or HR generalist experience • Experience recruiting for construction or trades positions preferred • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and HRIS Nice-to-Haves • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field • PHR or SHRM-CP certification • Experience with construction industry recruiting • Knowledge of skilled trades and craft labor markets Compensation & Logistics Competitive salary depending on experience; benefits include health insurance, PTO, and holidays.
