HCL Domino Administrator

Work Location: This position is RemoteJob Description: We Are Seeking an experienced HCL Domino Administrator to provide advanced administration, upgrade, and support services for enterprise Domino and Notes environments operating within a Windows Server infrastructure. This role will support system modernization efforts including platform upgrades, application conversions, and implementation of Domino Leap and Domino Nomad solutions while ensuring system stability, performance, and minimal operational disruption. The ideal candidate will possess strong Domino administration expertise, infrastructure knowledge, and the ability to support production environments requiring coordinated off-hour maintenance activities. Responsibilities: • Administer, maintain, and support enterprise HCL Domino servers and IBM Notes environments. • Perform upgrades of Domino production and development servers from legacy versions to current platform releases. • Implement and configure Domino Leap and Domino Nomad solutions. • Convert and modernize existing Domino applications to supported versions. • Integrate Domino applications with existing DB2 databases using ODBC connectivity. • Provide operational support for production servers while minimizing user and business disruption. • Apply system patches, updates, and performance improvements. • Support Windows Server environments hosting Domino infrastructure. • Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to maintain system availability and reliability. • Follow security best practices related to server administration and application access. • Manage certificates and public key infrastructure associated with Domino environments. • Support VPN connectivity and secure remote access requirements. • Participate in scheduled off-hour or weekend maintenance, upgrades, and production support activities. • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to technical staff as needed. Required Skills: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration, or a related field. • Minimum five (5) years of experience administering HCL Domino and IBM Notes environments, including upgrades and patch management. • Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting Windows Server infrastructure. • Experience working with DB2 databases and ODBC integrations. • Minimum five (5) years of general Information Technology experience. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated knowledge transfer ability.Technical Skills • HCL Domino Server administration and Notes client support • Domino version upgrades and environment patching • Windows Server administration (including Windows Server 2019 or newer) • DB2 database connectivity and ODBC configuration • Network infrastructure fundamentals • VPN configuration and secure connectivity • Security administration and best practices • Certificate and public key managementPreferred Skills • Experience supporting enterprise production environments • Application modernization within Domino platforms • Experience implementing Domino Leap and Domino Nomad • Strong troubleshooting and system performance optimization skillsAvailable Benefits: • Medical Benefits (Platinum level plans available) • Work from home / Hybrid / Onsite options • PTO • Holiday Pay • VTO • 401K • Charitable Match • Training reimbursement About KēSTA I.T.:Our name says it all; KēSTA I.T.
