The Company produces precision flow control components like Solenoid valves for mission critical applications in the Aerospace and Aviation industries.Note 1: This position requires a hands-on person coming from high precision (low volume) Solenoid Valve manufacturing business in the aerospace Industry.Note 2: This person will be Managing Projects and Programs for Solenoid Valve Manufacturing in the Aerospace industry. Note 3: This position is NOT for a Design Engineer, or managing Projects/Programs in Software, IT or any other industry (but previous Engineering experience is a plus). Job Summary: Responsibilities include developing and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external relationships with customers. Manage Projects and Programs for Solenoid Valve Manufacturing in the Aerospace industry. RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Controls - assuring Programs are performed within specific Program award budgets Schedule Controls - that assure on time contract performance with the appropriate resources allocated to meet changing contract requirements Contractual Submittals - that assure timely production of documents, reports and program updates per specific contract reporting requirements Customer Relations - Develop and maintain relationship with existing and new customers - Be the face of the Company to our customer. Other important elements for success are a clear understanding of business, accounting procedures, Quality Assurance practices, contracts, sales techniques and manufacturing procedures. A thorough understanding of engineering concepts and techniques is required Candidate Must Have: BS in Mechanical Engineering degree. Experience Managing complex Projects and Programs, with demonstrated financial skills and excellent communications techniques in the Aerospace Industry. (for both levels). For Medium = 5+ years & for Sr. = 8+ years of above experience. Self-starter, organized and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines Solid project engineering and communication skills Candidate Nice to Have: Advanced Degree - MS or MBA Previous Hands-on Engineering Experience.
