Java - Full Stack Sr. Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Java - Full Stack Sr. Developer for a Contract with a client in Culver City, CA. This role focuses on developing scalable fullstack Java applications and modernizing enterprise systems. Rate Range: $60/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Java - Full Stack Sr. Developer job responsibilities include: Design, develop, and enhance scalable Javabased applications using Spring Boot, JEE, Hibernate, and modern architectural patterns. Build and maintain RESTful services, integrate with legacy systems, and support both relational (Oracle PL/SQL) and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or MarkLogic. Develop interactive frontend components using Angular 2+, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 to deliver responsive user experiences. Modernize and extend existing enterprise applications by implementing enhancements, resolving defects, and ensuring smooth deployment across environments. Utilize messaging systems (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka), CI/CD tools, Git/Maven, and Docker containers to support efficient development and deployment workflows. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure scalable design, maintain application performance, and contribute to cloudready solutions leveraging AWS services. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 8+ years of professional experience in fullstack Java development, including backend and frontend frameworks. Strong handson expertise with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST API development, and integration with both relational (Oracle) and NoSQL databases. Proven experience with Angular/TypeScript frontend development, containerization using Docker, and cloudbased application development with AWS knowledge.
