Grand Prix Plaza is a multi-use complex and year-round destination for private events. The 39-acre property houses the state-of-the-art Las Vegas Grand Prix Pit Building and is known as the "Home of the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX." Grand Prix Plaza has returned for the 2026 season bigger, better, and more immersive than ever with enhanced experiences including F1® DRIVE, F1® X and F1® HUB, as well as three new private event spaces: Turn 1 Lounge, Cooldown Room, and GPP Garage. For more information, visit Grand Prix Plaza is seeking a Manager of Event Sales that will be responsible for booking small to medium-scale events at Grand Prix Plaza across various event spaces and attractions. This role will collaborate with internal departments, including finance, event services, and operations, to ensure proposed event types are achievable and delivered at the highest level of service. This position will report to the Director of Event Sales and Service. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, partnerships, and industry events; maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners. Proposal Development & Contract Negotiation: Prepare compelling proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and execute contracts to secure bookings while ensuring profitability for groups 50-500. CRM & Pipeline Management: Utilize Salesforce to manage leads, track sales activity, and maintain accurate client records for reporting and forecasting. Venue Showcases & Client Engagement: Conduct site visits, FAM tours, and presentations to highlight Grand Prix Plaza's unique offerings and capabilities. Event Planning Support: Partner with service managers and operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery and adherence to client expectations. Brand Representation: Represent Grand Prix Plaza at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to promote venue offerings and generate leads. Performance Reporting: Analyze sales metrics, prepare regular reports, and recommend strategies for continuous improvement. Other tasks and duties assigned by Supervisor/Management. SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS: In addition to the performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of the company. QUALIFICATIONS: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University required. 2-3 years of event sales experience. Proven background in event sales and client relationship management. Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and execute in a timely manner. Must be flexible with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment with challenging demands and frequent changes. Experience with sports and entertainment venues preferred Proficiency with Salesforce (CRM) preferred. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to build and maintain client relationships. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as the event calendar requires. Qualified candidates must be able to work in the United States. This is an in-person position that is full-time in office and is based in Las Vegas, NV.
