Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to fill a critical role in a dynamic healthcare environment. Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Valid New York State license Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a respiratory therapist Familiarity with respiratory care procedures and protocols Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting Location: Positioned in the heart of New York City, this role allows you to work in one of the nation's most vibrant and diverse urban centers. Responsibilities: Administer respiratory care treatments including oxygen therapy, ventilation management, and airway maintenance Monitor patient status and adjust respiratory interventions based on clinical assessment Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and safety standards Respond efficiently to emergencies and provide critical respiratory support when needed Schedule/Hours: Weekend shifts, Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM (2x7 schedule) This opportunity is ideal for a respiratory therapist seeking a rewarding role with potential for permanent placement following a 13-week contract.
