Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings, nights Employment Type: Travel PCU - Oncology Unit CHEMO CERT PREFERRED NOT REQUIRED - Travelers float to med/surg and PCU units - RTO needed upfront (7 or less days required per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved including after submission PCU and MedSurg Unit: 6 East Level of care: PCU, Oncology and MedSurg Number of beds: 27 Patient population: Adults RN Ratio (Days): 1 RN to 4 PCU, 1 to 5 M/S RN Ratio (Nights): 1 RN to 5-6 patients Shifts: 12 hour Shift times: 7a-7p, 7a-3p, 3p-7p, 7p-11p, 11p-7a, 7p-7a Weekend requirements: Every other weekend Self schedule Scrubs: Navy Blue Nursing Assistant support: Yes Charge nurse: Yes Additional unit support staff: PT/OT, RN case manager, social work, educator, dietician Common Patient Diagnosis: Oncology Common Drips/Medications:chemotherapy, heparin, cardizem, protonix Required certs: ACLS, BLS Other needed competencies: Ventilator, other hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000), ICP- all can train real time EMR: EPIC IV Pumps: Alaris Specialty Equipment Available: Lyko lifts in even rooms.
