The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record as an HVAC Estimator.ResponsibilitiesFully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locationsCollect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specificationsDetermine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costsGather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible pricesCreate and submit estimatesComplete tin take-offsAssist with project managingQualificationsPrevious experience as an Estimator is preferredAbility to forecast building costs and knowledge of estimation formulasStrong mathematical and analytical skillsExcellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
