Your Responsibilities: Develop detailed computer-aided designs for life safety and security systems within complex facilities. Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create and coordinate comprehensive 3D BIM models with architects and engineering teams. Assist in the design of layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, and Security/Intrusion Detection Systems. Ensure that all designs meet industry standards and client requirements, delivering practical and accurate solutions. What We Seek: Significant experience in drafting and BIM design, preferably in life safety systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines. High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 10 years of experience with AutoCAD. Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience with Revit design. Familiarity with IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code. Knowledge of Fire/Life Safety systems and equipment from various manufacturers.
