Health benefits for our team members Your Role as a Dental Hygienist: In this exciting position, your primary responsibilities will include conducting initial patient assessments, cleaning teeth to remove plaque, and offering valuable advice on oral health and preventative care. Collaborate with dentists to determine appropriate treatment options for various dental conditions. As a successful Dental Hygienist, you will: Ensure patients feel at ease prior to their exams Effectively sterilize dental instruments Conduct comprehensive mouth screenings and review oral health histories Identify issues such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis Perform teeth cleaning and protection procedures, including plaque removal and fluoride application Educate patients of all ages on proper dental care practices, such as effective brushing techniques Provide clear post-procedure instructions to patients Take X-rays and dental impressions Assist dentists in selecting appropriate treatments for diverse conditions, including oral cancer Maintain precise documentation and patient records Monitor and manage dental supplies effectively Qualifications: Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a comparable role Dental Hygiene license is mandatory Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations within the field (e.g., HIPAA) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Exceptional communication skills A patient and friendly attitude Strong attention to detail Physical stamina to meet job demands Diploma in Dental Hygiene is highly preferred Job Types: Part-time, Full-time Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
