A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide vital services in a K-12 school setting. This contract position offers part-time hours, with potential for full-time, supporting students with moderate to severe communication needs across two school locations in the Chicago area, specifically Wheeling and Palatine. Key Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) Experience providing speech therapy in school settings Proficiency in teletherapy as well as traditional methods Ability to work effectively with moderate to severe communication disorders in children Flexibility to travel between multiple school locations Location: Two schools located in Wheeling and Palatine, Illinois, with the base office near Waukegan Core Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs Deliver therapy services through in-person sessions and teletherapy as required Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school district reporting requirements Manage caseload effectively within a Monday to Friday schedule Benefits of this role include working with a diverse student population, the opportunity to make a significant impact on communication development, and the flexibility of part-time scheduling with potential to increase hours.
