Roles & Responsibilities - Review patient history and physician's orders. - Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. - Position patients and perform imaging procedures. - Ensure proper imaging techniques related to the patient's age and ability to understand the procedure to ensure image quality. - Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results, taking appropriate action to resolve any issues. - Enter, transmit, and report scan results. - Order, prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols. - Monitor patient conditions continually and respond to changes in status as appropriate. - Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in the Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms.
