We are focused on accurate financial systems, strong cash flow, and long-term operational stability. We are seeking a dependable Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounting support, and financial recordkeeping. Key Responsibilities Perform daily bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance Record financial transactions, deposits, and expenses Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Process vendor bills, customer invoices, and payment tracking Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and loan accounts Maintain accurate financial reconciliations Support payroll processing, payroll reports, and payroll documentation Maintain and organize financial records and digital files Prepare financial reports, summaries, and cash flow tracking for leadership Support month-end and year-end close processes Coordinate with CPA, tax preparer, or external accountant Ensure bookkeeping practices align with internal controls and compliance needs Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting support Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) Experience with AR/AP, invoicing, billing, and collections tracking Experience supporting payroll processes Strong understanding of reconciliations and financial accuracy High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Strong confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism Experience in construction, landscaping, trades, or service-based businesses preferred Schedule & Work Environment Approximately 20 hours per week Flexible schedule within agreed deadlines Remote or hybrid work possible In-person coordination as needed Compensation & Classification Compensation: $25/hr DOE Part-time, non-exempt position Equal Opportunity Employer TerraVita Landscape and Gardening is an equal opportunity employer.
