About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as our Vice President of Philanthropic Advancement. In this transformative role, you will be at the forefront of enhancing our philanthropic impact and fostering deep engagement with our alumni and donors. Your mission will be to modernize our advancement strategies, integrating fundraising, alumni relations, and community engagement into a cohesive and mission-driven framework. Your key responsibilities will include: Developing and executing a comprehensive advancement strategy that aligns with the institution's long-term goals. Overseeing all aspects of fundraising and donor engagement to elevate our culture of philanthropy. Mobilizing alumni, donors, and community stakeholders to support the university's initiatives. Collaborating closely with the President, Board, and other leaders to ensure advancement efforts drive institutional success. The ideal candidate will possess: A proven track record in major and principal gift fundraising. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A strong commitment to the values of our institution. Experience leading and inspiring a diverse team with a focus on transformational leadership. A Bachelor’s degree is required, while a Master’s degree or equivalent experience and CFRE certification are preferred. We are looking for someone with at least 10 years of senior-level supervisory experience who can motivate teams, build trust, and promote a culture of professional growth and accountability. As a visible ambassador for our institution, you will represent us authentically, articulating a compelling mission-driven case for support.
