Automotive Corporate Controller

HHM Talent is assisting a client search for an Automotive Corporate Controller in Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Automotive Corporate Controller to lead all accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions across a multi-rooftop dealership group. This individual will oversee the store level controllers, standardize accounting processes, and drive a consistent month end close. This role requires deep automotive industry experience and the ability to manage complex, multi-location financial operations.Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting and financial operations for multiple dealership locationsLead and mentor a team of Controllers Ensure that all rooftops follow the same accounting processesEnforce a 5 to 6 day month end close timelineEnsure accuracy of general ledgers, schedules, reconciliations, and financial statementsMaintain clean, organized, compliant accounting records and processesEnsure all stores meet reporting deadlines with complete, audit ready financialsLead audit preparation, including flooring audits, tax reviews, and internal auditsUtilize the DealerTrack DMS system Qualifications Must have Automotive Corporate Controller experience5 to 10 years of multi-rooftop group experience Proficiency with DealerTrack is strongly preferredProven success delivering a tight month-end close.Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work onsite in Columbus, OH (relocation assistance available)Benefits Competitive compensation ($200k-$250k)Full benefits packageUpcoming 401(k) programRelocation support for the right candidateA stable, family oriented culture with long-term leadership and minimal turnover
