As an AWS Engineering Manager, you will take charge of creating innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. As part of the Software Engineering team, you will design and develop large-scale distributed data processing systems or internet applications using languages like Java, Scala, Python, and JavaScript. In this managerial role, you’ll lead teams and oversee client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and the mentorship of junior staff while ensuring project success and maintaining exceptional standards. Responsibilities: Designing and developing large-scale distributed data processing systems. Utilizing programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, and JavaScript. Leading teams and managing client accounts through strategic planning. Mentoring junior staff to build their skills and confidence. Ensuring project success while upholding the highest standards. Motivating team members to produce quality work. Leveraging team strengths to fulfill client expectations. Embracing technology and innovation for improved delivery. What You Must Have: Bachelor's Degree. 5 years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of specialized training and work experience in technology for candidates without a degree. What Sets You Apart: A Master’s Degree in a related field preferred. Preferred Certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and other AWS-related certifications. Proficiency in Java 8 or Python for design and development. Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Cloud. Familiarity with building Microservices REST API and Event Driven Design. Experience with Knative, Docker, and Kubernetes deployments. Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana. Experience creating Web UI using modern JavaScript libraries. Experience working within Agile Methodologies. The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
