Job Description: Join our team as a Truck Driver at XPO! What you’ll need to succeed: At least 21 years of age Valid Class A commercial driver's license Proven safe driving history Willingness to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days Ability to pass a DOT drug test (no prior positives/refusals in the last 3 years) Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical Flexible schedule availability for shifts lasting up to 12-14 hours, including days, nights, and weekends Preferred qualifications include: Experience operating a forklift Current hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements About the Truck Driver Role: Enjoy home daily Competitive pay starting at $28.49 per hour Comprehensive health insurance starting on day one Life and disability insurance coverage Earn up to 13 days of PTO in your first year 9 paid holidays 401(k) with company match Education assistance available This position is exempt under the Motor Carrier Act Your daily responsibilities will include: Safely operating a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples Delivering excellent customer service, including generating sales leads Loading and unloading freight efficiently As a Truck Driver, you will be required to: Lift various objects frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs. Safely maneuver in and out of a tractor cab/trailer Remain seated for extended periods during operations Walk and stand on diverse surfaces often Perform tasks such as reaching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling Operate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours, managing all weather conditions while transporting both hazardous and non-hazardous materials If you don’t currently have your CDL-A, learn about our Driver School opportunities.
