Network Security Specialist

A large Engineering customer of Marathon TS is seeking an experienced Network Specialist to join their dynamic team. Team members in this role will: • Work in conjunction with subject matter experts and learn how ICS security is designed, configured, and maintained in an operational technology (OT) environment. • Develop a technical understanding of ICS network infrastructure, security appliances, and security control configurations. • Manage integration of one or more NERC CIP standard into OT network projects • Support the execution of operational tasking specific to network and system administration, security patch management, AV, SIEM Log Monitoring, Backup & Recovery, and Incident Response. Required Qualifications • Proficient understanding of the NERC Reliability Standards, with emphasis on Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) • Minimum 3 years of experience in security center applications, monitoring, troubleshooting and Analysis. • Must be proficient in computer operating systems, technical documentation process and gathering of auditing documentations. • Demonstrates competence in analyzing and solving highly complex system / application-related problems within a reasonable amount of time • Strong written and oral communication skills required for interaction with various customers of the power generation operations in order to understand customer needs and translate them to technical solutions.
