As a Healthcare Interoperability Advisor, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and monitoring legislation, regulations, and guidance at both state and federal levels. Collaborate closely with our product engineering, development teams, and subject matter experts to enhance Oracle's healthcare offerings. Your regulatory expertise will be integral in shaping strategic concepts and papers that align with Oracle's mission in healthcare, while also forging partnerships to guarantee compliance with regulatory standards. This position focuses on the Oracle Health & Life Sciences units, yet you will also interact with other Oracle business units serving the health and life sciences sector. We seek a dedicated regulatory advisor who excels in a dynamic software development environment and is committed to achieving excellence. What You'll Do: Your primary responsibilities will encompass: Monitoring and assessing state and federal policies related to health IT and interoperability. Evaluating the impact of regulations on Oracle Health products and services. Collaborating with Oracle's product engineering teams to analyze product functionalities and devise regulatory strategies. Clearly conveying complex regulatory and technical requirements to product and development teams. Serving as a subject matter expert for internal teams on regulatory interpretations and standards. Partnering with product development, regulatory, and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance standards are upheld. Conducting gap analyses and risk assessments to identify improvement opportunities. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, ideally in healthcare policy or compliance within a large health system, health IT consulting, or governmental roles. Experience with state or federal government entities is an asset. Strong understanding of federal and state health IT, data exchange, and interoperability policies. Familiarity with Oracle Health EHR products is advantageous. Proven ability to collaborate across diverse teams on intricate regulatory issues. Membership in healthcare trade associations and industry groups is beneficial. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Capacity to adapt to and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Technical proficiency with a solid ability to understand and interpret technical specifications. Salary and Benefits: The hiring range in the US is from $87,000 to $178,100 annually, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
