Speech Language Pathology Specialist

Rate Range: $52.00-$60.00 per hour Your Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the speech, language, and communication needs of students. Design and implement customized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans that address student challenges. Deliver engaging speech-language therapy services in diverse settings, including one-on-one, small group, and classroom situations. Tackle challenges related to articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication effectively. Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and special education teams to ensure optimal student progress. Maintain detailed records and documentation following Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and IDEA guidelines. Actively participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and interdisciplinary team discussions to support student needs. Provide training and support to teachers and staff on effective speech-language strategies and classroom accommodations. What We Are Looking For: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License required. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check are required. Why Join Us?
