Job Description Field Service Technician - Pump Systems Specialist Schedule: Full-time Overview Join a well-established pump sales and service company as a Field Service Technician, where you will have the opportunity to install, troubleshoot, and repair pump systems for both industrial and municipal clients. This position is hands-on and requires fieldwork, making it a dynamic role for those who enjoy working outside of a traditional office environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, valves, and related equipment. Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting directly on-site. Install new equipment and assist with system upgrades to enhance operational efficiency. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency service, providing timely assistance to clients. Complete detailed service documentation and maintain clear communication with customers. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in pump service or industrial mechanics. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills are essential for success in this role. Familiarity with basic electrical concepts, including motors and controls; knowledge of VFDs is a plus. Ability to work autonomously and travel regionally as required. Valid driver's license is mandatory. Preferred Experience with municipal or industrial pumping systems.
