We're building a lean, high-performing marketing team that leverages automation, AI, and strategic thinking to support our growth while maintaining our brand excellence and customer experience.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Paid Advertising Specialist to take ownership of our paid advertising across our growing portfolio of facilities nationwide, build automated reporting systems that harness the power of data analytics, and continuously optimize campaigns for maximum ROAS. This individual contributor role reports directly to the VP of Marketing and offers significant opportunity for the right professional to make a real impact as we scale our operations and continue to disrupt the storage market.As a rapidly growing company expanding into new markets, this position requires a technically proficient Paid Advertising Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment where delivering results is paramount. This role requires exceptional technical execution ability, advanced data analysis skills, and hands-on expertise across multiple advertising platforms including Google Ads, programmatic DSPs, geo-fencing, OTT/CTV, and Microsoft Ads with the primary goal to increase facility rentals while keeping overall advertising costs down through strategic, data-driven campaign management across all platforms.What You'll OwnDigital Advertising Campaign ManagementGoogle Ads & Search Marketing Own end-to-end Google Ads strategy with emphasis on Search Ads performance: manage Search, Display, Performance Max, and Retargeting campaignsBuild scalable campaign structures optimized for hyperlocal targeting (3-5 mile radius per facility) with advanced bid strategies and budget allocation formulasDevelop keyword strategies specific to self-storage and Ideal Customer Profiles: high-intent search terms and negative keyword managementExecute Microsoft Ads (Bing) campaigns and coordinate paid search strategy with SEO Manager to maximize overall search visibilityManage Sparefoot and other internet listing services (ILS) to maximize visibility and conversions while optimizing cost-per-rentalOptimize facility listings, pricing strategies, and promotional offers across all ILS platforms to drive qualified leadsMonitor ILS performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve conversion rates and reduce customer acquisition costsExecute programmatic display campaigns through DSPs (The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP) with audience targeting and real-time optimizationDeploy
