PGS Worldwide is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer in Chelmsford, MA for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains integration and test solutions for in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems. The position supports system/subsystem test planning, execution, regression testing, and reporting to verify and validate performance. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study) or related professional level career experience Ability to obtain a clearance and start the interim clearance process at offer stage 5+ years using Microsoft Office to generate status reports, project plans, and work instructions 5+ years writing, editing, and supporting an existing software code base using LabVIEW 3+ years writing, editing, and supporting an existing software code base using Test Stand software 3+ years analyzing and resolving problems Experience managing and prioritizing your own workload across multiple tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience working effectively on teams Ability to work with minimal detailed direction to deliver desired results Experience working with and leading teams toward milestone completion Preferred Skills Minimum of 9 years of professional level career experience Proven success implementing methods to measure electrical parameters for components and subassemblies 5+ years subject matter expert in Radio Frequency or Microwave systems and subsystems 3+ years developing multiple complex test programs with Test Stand development environments Track record researching and specifying components for test equipment design Ability to troubleshoot measurement issues and isolate problems to test instrument, fixturing, software level, or unit under test Proficiency generating assembly and block diagram sketches, parts lists, and other engineering documentation Proficiency in corrective/preventative action process and implementation Solid background deriving test requirements from design or system level requirements Ability to identify and author documentation to correct drawing-to-hardware discrepancies Proven collaborator with multidiscipline teams Effective relationship builder across multiple organizations and disciplines Experience preparing charts and giving presentations outlining technical issues, solutions, or trade studies What You'll Do Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain integration and test solutions for in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems Translate customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints Establish functional and technical specifications and standards, and resolve hardware/software interface problems Define input/output parameters and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem Review and derive requirements for testability Develop and direct preparation and execution of test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems Coordinate subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations Analyze test results and prepare subsystem/system-level evaluation reports to verify and validate performance Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes Job ID: 20163 "Military veterans and transitioning military members are encouraged to apply to all PGS Worldwide positions.
