This role is vital in providing our customers with an unforgettable cheese shopping experience that reflects our passion for food, extensive cheese expertise, and engaging customer service. As a Cheese Experience Master, you'll lead a dedicated team, working collaboratively to enhance our cheese offerings and create a vibrant store atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Create and uphold a unique cheese shopping experience through interactive customer service, continuous product education, and effective merchandising strategies. Lead and train our staff to ensure they are well-versed in our operations and product offerings, maintaining a friendly and knowledgeable environment. Communicate and enforce all relevant policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance at all levels. Uphold food safety and sanitation processes diligently. Manage inventory efficiently, including placing orders as needed. Organize and set up exciting in-store selling events weekly. Contribute to the store's sales goals and profit improvements. Implement best practices to minimize shrink and waste effectively. Control labor costs through smart scheduling practices. Achieve or surpass budgetary targets for your department. Supervise and mentor your team, providing performance reviews and constructive feedback. Execute all essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Management or food retail experience, or possess a two-year culinary degree. Willingness to sample and appreciate cheese daily. Supportive and enthusiastic about our cheese business initiatives. Able to motivate, inspire, and train staff while ensuring timely task completion. Strong communication skills are essential. Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. A genuine desire to learn, enthusiasm for cheese, and an openness to innovative approaches.
