Field Property Technician - Construction & Maintenance

Position Description Position Title: Field Property Technician - Construction & Maintenance Reporting To: Mark Turkewitz / Robbie RobbinsLocation: Various VIP locations across Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts Primary Purpose Perform renovations and repairs for existing VIP properties and finish construction/carpentry work for new VIP properties. Responsibilities General maintenance and repair duties for all VIP properties. Performs basic carpentry, painting, masonry, light electrical, flooring, tire racking set up, and other tasks as needed. Works in a safe manner, follows all safety policies while performing job duties, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment PPE. Keeps work area clean and organized. Preparation and assembly of various building components and materials used in the renovation, repair, or new construction of a VIP property. Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed. Communicates with team members to assist in the completion of tasks. Travel as needed for projects, including overnights. New location set up and repair. Skills & Abilities Required Ability to safely perform light carpentry and construction tasks. Ability to learn new skills as required to complete renovation jobs. Ability to stay busy, be highly productive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and follow directions. Knowledge of tools needed to perform jobs, and ability to use them safely and effectively. Finish tasks in a timely manner. Communicate effectively and positively with team members, store staff, supervisors, and management. Take direction from Job Supervisor. Behave professionally and be reliable. Good workmanship and attention to detail. Become an excellent team player. Qualifications & RequirementsExperience preferred. Extended hours and overnights based on business needs. Travel from the Auburn Support Center, or your home base, will be provided or reimbursed. Valid driver's license and ability to pass both a criminal background and a substance abuse screening.
