The Institutional Staking team is dedicated to creating a reliable and scalable staking platform for institutions. We empower asset managers, financial institutions, and crypto-native funds to engage with on-chain networks and earn rewards through our secure, high-performing infrastructure. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining the next generation of institutional staking products, balancing client experience, protocol dynamics, and enterprise-grade infrastructure. This position offers direct access to our largest clients and involves collaboration with engineering, design, protocol specialists, sales, and legal teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead the product strategy and roadmap for essential staking features, supported protocols, and tailored reporting for institutional clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, scalable, and high-performance staking solutions across multiple chains. Engage directly with institutional clients, including asset managers and financial institutions, to gather insights, validate product directions, and ensure we meet the highest standards for security, usability, and operational excellence. Define and monitor metrics to guide product prioritization and measure success effectively. Inspire enthusiasm around a shared vision and align teams for successful execution. Communicate plans and progress effectively to key partners and executive leadership, translating product functionalities clearly to clients. Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of building enterprise or B2B crypto products. Successful history of launching and iterating on products at scale. Understanding of staking mechanisms and blockchain protocols. A strong client focus; you enjoy gathering customer insights, understanding their needs, and addressing institutional challenges with innovative solutions. Exceptional communication, relationship management, and organizational abilities. Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, able to operate effectively with incomplete or ambiguous data. Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, committed to continuous improvement. Genuine interest in cryptocurrency, financial markets, and Coinbase's mission. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in institutional staking, crypto, or custody. Familiarity with regulatory and reporting considerations for staking, including qualified custody and reporting standards. Experience working with protocol teams or engaging in staking ecosystems such as Ethereum or Solana. ID: GIPM04US Compensation Transparency: The target annual base salary for this position ranges from $144,500 to $170,000 USD, based on experience. Full-time offers from Coinbase include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
