As a Charge Nurse, you will take the lead in providing exceptional nursing care to our patients during your shift. Your responsibilities include following the Comprehensive Care Plan and assisting the Unit Manager with precise and thorough documentation in patient records as needed. You will also oversee the direct care provided by nursing staff during your shift. We are looking for candidates who: Are licensed nurses in the State of Indiana. Have a passion for serving others. Exhibit professionalism in both appearance and behavior. Enjoy working collaboratively within a dedicated team. Qualifications: General: Currently licensed and registered to practice as a professional nurse in Indiana. Complete all pre-employment processes and screenings successfully. Pass the physical examination required for employment in the facility. Maintain a professional manner and appearance. Job Knowledge: Understand nursing policies and procedures. Know the administration of medication, potential side effects, treatment protocols, and relevant laws and regulations related to resident care. Have a comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices. Recognize the physical, psychological, social, and medical needs of residents. Be familiar with the organizational structure and the roles of employees supervised by the unit manager. Other Skills: Exhibit competence in supervision and leadership. Demonstrate a caring attitude. Be observant and attentive to patient needs. Foster positive working relationships with other staff members. Utilize good judgment and emotional stability. Be able to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
