Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Special Procedures Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology Job Details:• Work 4x8 hour shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 1x10 hour shift Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (42 hours total per week)• 5 days per week schedule with 2 hours overtime built in• Every other holiday required• No on-call or weekend shifts• IR experience required with 2 years of experience minimum• Travel experience required• Required certifications: ARRT-R, ACLS, BLS, and fluoro permit• Maryland license required• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms• Scrubbing for IR, vascular, and pain procedures is mandatory• Must be proficient in operating Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm• Handle interventional procedures including tunneled catheter placements, embolizations, drain placements, suprapubic catheter placements, PEG tube placements• Perform pain management procedures including epidural blocks and radiofrequency ablations• Conduct vascular procedures including angiograms, thrombectomies, fistulograms, and IVC filter placements• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations• Experience with Cerner charting system required• No RTO permitted during first two weeks of assignment• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract Facility:This healthcare facility features a comprehensive interventional radiology department with advanced imaging capabilities and modern equipment.
