Industry Marketing and Advertising Type Privately Held About the Role We are seeking an experienced part-time CFO/Controller to play a vital role in overseeing financial operations and providing strategic direction. In this position, you will manage daily accounting functions, lead financial planning initiatives, and track project-based financial performance. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing revenue recognition processes. Conducting margin analysis and profitability reporting. Delivering executive-level financial insights to the leadership team. Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while maintaining strong internal controls. Streamlining systems and workflows within finance tools and timekeeping. Enhancing operational efficiency and financial visibility across projects. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a similar role within a project-based professional services organization. Proficiency in NetSuite is required, with a preference for those experienced in HubSpot. Familiarity with Workfront (Adobe) for timekeeping and project tracking is advantageous. The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of project accounting, margin management, and services-based KPIs. You should feel comfortable working in a hands-on capacity, capable of building scalable finance processes in a remote environment.
