Clinical Performance Specialist - Radiology PURPOSE As a Clinical Performance Specialist within Bayer's Radiology business unit, you play a vital role in enhancing the customer experience through expert training and support for Bayer Radiology's portfolio of products. Your mission is to promote clinical adoption and ensure customer satisfaction. You will deliver product training and applications support, assist sales efforts, and maintain a strong grasp of Bayer's equipment and industry trends. This position requires significant travel, approximately 75%, within the Mid-Atlantic territory including locations in Virginia and West Virginia. Candidates should ideally reside within this territory. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The primary responsibilities for this role include: Delivering, planning, and executing First Run Yield (FRY) clinical education training for users of Bayer equipment and software solutions while ensuring compliance with Bayer standards; Facilitating and encouraging the adoption of new technologies and procedures during onsite training; Providing clinical expertise in the sales effort by collaborating with Portfolio Representatives, Strategic Account Managers, Channel Management, Customer Success Teams, and Inside Sales to support Bayer's product portfolio; Building and nurturing customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction, employing tailored customer success strategies to help clients achieve their desired outcomes; Offering clinical answers and troubleshooting support to external customers through various communication channels regarding all models of Bayer Radiology products; Assisting with special projects as needed and requested; Developing strategic implementation plans based on detailed site and clinical workflow analyses, using independent judgment to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues; Notifying Bayer's Complaint Department upon receiving reports of adverse events or complaints in accordance with company policies; Maintaining current knowledge of new and existing devices and software platforms; Managing and supporting the Mid-Atlantic territory, primarily covering Virginia and Washington DC. WHO YOU ARE Bayer is seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate's degree in a relevant technical or clinical discipline with at least 6 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience; or a Master's degree with 2 years of experience; Radiologic Technologist (RT) Certification and/or CIIP Certification; Comprehensive knowledge of effective Radiology and/or IT department workflows and practices; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in MS Office suite, and a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies; Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of managing complexity and ambiguity; Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time, including overnight travel; A valid driver's license; Experience with Bayer/Medrad Injector systems and familiarity with IT/radiation dose management software is a plus. The expected salary for this position ranges from $75,831.00 to $113,747.00, with potential for additional compensation in the form of bonuses or commissions.
