Job Description This is an in-office position located in Nashville, TN or Austin, TX. As the Senior Director of Global Project Execution, you will play a crucial leadership role in managing strategic planning, design, and execution of construction projects worldwide. Your extensive background in project management will empower cross-functional teams across various regions, ensuring successful project outcomes. We are seeking a candidate with a demonstrated track record in managing a diverse portfolio of global capital projects, ranging from small initiatives to large-scale developments. Your expertise in collaboration with municipal authorities and management of both internal and external stakeholders will be critical. A history of successfully delivering high-value and complex projects is essential. You will ensure adherence to strict regulatory requirements, budget management, and alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. Responsibilities Oversee all phases of project lifecycle, including design, construction, commissioning, closeout, and handover to operations. Develop and execute a strategic vision for project delivery that aligns with organizational goals and stakeholder needs. Manage multi-year capital budgets to fulfill financial targets and deliver anticipated value. Establish key performance metrics to regularly assess project health, encompassing budget, schedule, scope, and risk management. Provide executive-level updates on project status, emphasizing budgets, timelines, risks, and mitigation strategies. Facilitate effective coordination among internal teams, external consultants, and contractors to maintain project momentum. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence through Lean methodologies and teamwork. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication and addressing project delivery challenges proactively. Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote consistency and standardization in project execution. Manage relationships with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure high-quality and cost-effective construction documentation. Engage closely with the Real Estate & Facilities Integrated Facilities Management (RE&F IFM) provider to achieve project objectives. Lead value engineering initiatives to enhance design solutions while preserving functionality and sustainability. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, zoning, and municipal requirements to minimize delays in permitting. Implement construction oversight protocols to ensure adherence to design standards, budgets, and timelines. Create detailed project schedules and milestones to drive timely execution and mitigate potential delays. Conduct site visits and progress reviews to monitor quality and compliance with project specifications. Resolve on-site conflicts collaboratively with contractors and consultants for optimal efficiency. Establish risk management strategies and contingency plans to address possible project disruptions. Oversee cost estimating, bidding, and procurement processes to secure competitive pricing and ensure alignment with market conditions. Track financial performance, approve payment applications, change orders, and contract modifications as needed. Lead cost-saving initiatives while ensuring quality, safety, and operational efficiency on projects. Engage with local and state municipalities to secure entitlements and manage zoning, permitting, and regulatory approvals. Represent the organization in public-private partnerships, ensuring compliance with municipal requirements. Build strong connections with city planners and regulatory agencies to expedite project approvals. Act as the primary liaison among Oracle, municipal entities, contractors, and consultants to ensure project success. Promote a collaborative culture that drives results with aligned project teams. Incorporate sustainable practices in design and construction to meet environmental standards. Utilize innovative construction technologies and project management methodologies to enhance project outcomes. Key Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or a related field; a Master's degree is highly preferred. 15+ years of construction project management experience, with a robust background in ground-up development. 5+ years of team management experience. Proven success in leading mega-scale projects ($1B+) from inception through completion. Extensive oversight experience in construction to meet budget, schedule, and quality goals. Demonstrated ability to manage architects, engineers, and consultants in developing design and construction documents. Expertise in collaborating with municipalities for TIF agreements, zoning approvals, and regulatory compliance. Strong knowledge of capital budgeting, financial modeling, and public-private partnership frameworks. Experience managing large, cross-functional teams including consultants and contractors. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication capabilities. A multidisciplinary understanding of real estate, facilities, engineering, construction management, and environmental health & safety (EH&S). Ability to work on-site at an Oracle campus and reside within commuting distance of Oracle's Nashville, TN or Austin, TX campus. Relocation assistance may be available for candidates moving to within commuting distance of Oracle's campuses. Willingness to travel as needed, both domestically and internationally. Compensation: Range in USD from: $133,800 to $291,800 per annum, may be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
