Your main objective will be to create a positive customer experience while originating consumer loans, completing loan applications, cultivating strong customer relationships, and achieving sales goals. Additionally, you will support the Branch Manager with daily operational tasks and serve as a role model for fellow team members. Job Responsibilities: Seek out opportunities to generate new loan business with both new and existing customers. Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate consumer loan and voluntary product solutions. Complete loan applications, proposals, and offers for new borrowers while following up on pending applications. Assist prospective borrowers by explaining the loan process and addressing inquiries regarding loan products and processing. Take responsibility for customer issues and collaborate with management to develop solutions for potential problem loans. Close loans, organize loan folders, and manage file breakdowns. Consistently meet or surpass loan goals. Manage a complex consumer loan portfolio on a day-to-day basis. Employ analytical skills to swiftly address and resolve customer issues. Build trust with customers and internal staff by exemplifying and embodying the organization’s philosophy, including core values, policies, operational procedures, and compliance. Handle insurance claims, track follow-ups, and manage daily payments while maintaining an updated insurance log. Deliver exceptional customer service through daily transactions, inquiries, and problem resolution. Comply with corporate, legal, and regulatory policies, guidelines, and requirements regarding compliance. Respond to incoming calls and manage the branch’s voicemail. Support the Branch Manager with assorted operational tasks including daily initialization, preparing daily deposits, and processing live checks. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years in a goal-oriented, incentive-based sales role. 1+ years experience in the consumer finance sector is preferred. Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to perform independently and as a dedicated team member. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage priorities. Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance. Willingness to adhere to company policy regarding employment credit checks, background checks, and drug screenings. Eligibility to meet insurance licensing requirements to sell voluntary insurance products, contingent upon a criminal background check by the state's department of insurance.
