Now Hiring: Vice President of OperationsA well-established and growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead plant operations and drive long-term manufacturing strategy. This high-impact role is responsible for building a lean transformation culture, managing operational P&L performance, and delivering operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.With multiple production facilities and continued investment in advanced technology and sustainable practices, this organization provides innovative, high-quality solutions to a diverse customer base. The company values collaboration, respect, and a strong commitment to customer success.What You'll DoAs Vice President of Operations, you will:Lead plant operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and process improvementManage KPIs across production, logistics, purchasing, cost, and labor productivityDevelop and execute strategies for manufacturing optimization, continuous improvement, and capital utilizationDrive a lean culture using tools such as 5S + Safety, Kaizen events, TPM, VSM, and leader standard workMentor and empower high-performing teams, fostering accountability, engagement, and operational excellenceOversee operational P&L, budgets, and capital projects, ensuring alignment with company strategySupport integration of newly acquired businesses and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standardsWhat We're Looking ForYou may be a strong fit if you have:Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Industrial Engineering degree preferred10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadershipProven success leading operations with full P&L responsibilityStrong background in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvementExperience in high-speed, process-driven manufacturing environments with strong quality, safety, and continuous improvement disciplines preferred (e.g., food & beverage, plastics, paper converting, packaging, automotive, or other commercial manufacturing).Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and lead change through hands-on, transparent leadershipStrong communication and project management skills, with the ability to operate both strategically and tacticallyA leadership style that motivates, engages, and drives results with integrityRelocation assistance is available to support qualified candidates who are interested in relocating to the Richmond, Virginia area.Why Join This Organization?You'll join a collaborative, growth-focused environment that values innovation, operational excellence, and leadership that drives results.
