About the Role & Team The Supply Chain Visibility (SCV) team is dedicated to addressing growing regulatory and stakeholder demands for thorough supply chain due diligence. As a newly established team, SCV focuses on managing Disney's responsibilities related to understanding and monitoring the upstream supply chain. This involves collaborating with Corporate and Business partners to implement new regulatory requirements, analyzing both internal and external supply chain data to assess regulatory impacts and evaluate risks, and developing innovative tools and methodologies to ensure compliance. Moreover, the team partners with internal Sourcing teams to collect and analyze information from Disney’s vendors. As a foundational member reporting to the Senior Manager of SCV, the Program Development Specialist will play a key role in shaping and expanding a cross-functional compliance program and technology platform. This role will focus on driving the adoption and optimization of the technology platform, integrating compliance into new business units, and managing special projects to foster the program's development and growth. What You Will Do Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Lead cross-functional collaborations for the supply chain visibility technology platform, defining requirements, prioritizing enhancements, and troubleshooting issues with technology and business stakeholders. Communicate updates regarding the platform to stakeholders, including senior leaders, ensuring all are informed about platform health and enhancements. Document and track platform use cases, ensuring alignment with strategic business priorities. Work closely with the SCV Operations team and other key stakeholders to analyze data and generate actionable reports to inform program development. Business Integration Collaborate with various business units to tailor compliance solutions that suit their sourcing, vendor setup, product development, and production processes. Conduct onboarding sessions, workshops, and follow-up meetings to facilitate the integration of the platform and compliance program with regional management teams. Monitor the progress of onboarding, identify roadblocks, and actively work with stakeholders to resolve challenges efficiently. Special Projects Design and lead projects to enhance the SCV program’s maturity and effectiveness, including processes for regulatory scoping and supply chain risk analysis, evaluating new compliance methodologies, and developing training materials. Create project plans, milestones, and resource proposals to ensure timely project implementation. Oversee project budgets and timelines, swiftly identifying and communicating potential risks or delays to leadership and stakeholders, along with suggesting corrective actions. Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to continually improve supply chain visibility programs. Required Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of experience in responsible sourcing, social and environmental sustainability, supply chain compliance, and/or human rights. Proven experience managing technology platforms or digital tools. Demonstrated ability to integrate new compliance initiatives into existing business processes, facilitating onboarding and training. Skilled in project management methodologies and tools. Strong interpersonal skills to maintain collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders. Adept at synthesizing multiple perspectives and driving informed decision-making. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information effectively. Strong data analysis capabilities to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Ability to thrive in ambiguous settings and adapt to changing business needs. Detail-oriented, organized, and methodical approach to projects. Proactive problem-solver. Willingness to collaborate across different time zones within a global team. Preferred Qualifications Experience in expanding compliance initiatives within multinational organizations. Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards related to supply chain due diligence. Knowledge of traceability methodologies and technologies. Experience with ERP or compliance management platforms. Change management experience regarding new technology implementations. Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Chinese, Spanish, French) is a plus. Education Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred. This position is on-site, requiring a minimum of four days per week in the office, with a preferred location in Glendale, CA. The hiring range for this position in California is $115,500.00 to $154,800.00 per year, with additional benefits.
