Primary Purpose: Lead the financial operations of Parkland Health's Foundation, ensuring strategic oversight and maintaining financial integrity. Act as a key liaison between the foundation and the hospital system while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Minimum Specifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field required. A Master’s degree is preferred. Experience: At least 7 years in a financial leadership role, with 4 years in the non-profit sector. Experience in a foundation is highly desirable. Certification: Certified Public Accountant preferred. Skills or Special Abilities: Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex information. Demonstrated leadership ability with a focus on achieving results. Proven analytical and reasoning skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting principles (GAAP) and related software. Responsibilities: Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the foundation's goals.
