Responsibilities Ascensions Saint Thomas Medical Partners is adding a cardiologist to our team at our Manchester, TN-based Saint Thomas Heart office. This office has a long-standing history in the Coffee county community of offering excellent cardiac services for the patients it serves. Aligned with Ascension Saint Thomas Heart Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN, the practice is also supported by an interventional cardiologist and electrophysiologist who have weekly clinics in Manchester. Manchester is located just 65 miles south of Nashville and is halfway between Chattanooga and Nashville. It is home to some of the most beautiful parks in the state and is rich in history. Downtown is lined with galleries, restaurants, antique shops and restored Victorian buildings. Recognized for outstanding schools and offers a strong employment base, the city maintains its historical charm while actively promoting a diverse economic and cultural landscape. In recent decades, Manchester has gained national recognition as the host of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, an annual event that draws tens of thousands of visitors from all over the world. Requirements Licensure/Certification/Registration: Required Credential(s): Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. KY License also required if working in a Kentucky facility. Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
