Job Description Join us as an Avionics Systems Technician where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and functionality of various electrical systems that are crucial for keeping aircraft in the air. Your responsibilities will include the maintenance and troubleshooting of communication, navigation, and flight control systems. Through comprehensive training, you’ll gain the expertise needed to perform operational checks and alignments on essential avionics equipment. You will also inspect and maintain electrical systems, ensuring all components are in top working condition. Key Responsibilities Maintain specialized tools and equipment Manage shop inventory and supplies related to aircraft avionics Skills You Will Develop Fundamentals of electronics theory Techniques for soldering and system installations Desired Skills Interest in mathematics and mechanics Ability to collaborate within a team environment Strong multi-tasking capabilities You will not only build valuable skills for a future in commercial aviation and aircraft maintenance but also earn while you learn. In this role, you will receive pay while receiving quality education and training. Training Overview Your journey includes 10 weeks of Basic Training to develop fundamental soldiering skills, followed by 25 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, where you will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
