Craft and Technical Solutions is a leading Marine and Industrial Staffing Company with a nationwide presence. We specialize in connecting talented professionals with top-tier companies. We are excited to invite 1st Class Marine Pipefitters to join our expert team. Compensation: $34/hr with a per diem of $660 per week. Job Overview: Install and repair piping systems on ships and submarines. Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure the highest standards of workmanship. Accurately read and interpret blueprints to execute tasks effectively. Assemble, fabricate, install, and test ship piping systems, securing pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment using various methods, including welding, brazing, and soldering. Engage in both new construction projects and ship repair initiatives. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of marine pipefitting experience is required. Expertise in silver brazing with materials such as Copper Nickel, Carbon, and Copper/Copper. A deep understanding of shipbuilding and manufacturing processes. Capability to work with a range of piping systems. Completion of the 1st Class Pipe Fitter Written and Physical Assessments is mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Able to read and interpret blueprints effectively. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds independently. Successful completion of a 10-Panel drug test is required. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is necessary; candidates should provide valid documentation, such as a birth certificate, passport, permanent resident card, or naturalization documentation.
