The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided.Essential functions and responsibilities Manage multiple commercial interiors projectsSkilled in all phases of design process – programming, space planning, schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction administrationProvide project team coordination for finish plans, specifications and material selections required for constructionDevelop selection of furniture systems/ specifications. Coordinate and collaborate with furniture vendor through ordering and installation of materialsManage client expectations and consultant coordinationProduce design drawings in AutoCAD & RevitKnowledge of current building codes Nonessential functions and responsibilities Perform other related duties as assigned Required Skills Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and RevitStrong organizational and time management skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsCollaborative and professional work ethicAbility to work well in teams and with multiple disciplinesAbility to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Creative Adobe Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign is preferred Required Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or ArchitectureLicensed Interior Designer CID (in Maryland)5-10+ years of work experience5-10+ years of experience using Revit and AutoCAD Preferred Experience Experience with computer-assisted design software such as Enscape and Sketch UpExperience in construction document development, finish selection and space planning/programming Working ConditionsJMT Architecture offers a hybrid work schedule. Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking.
