Successful candidates will demonstrate skill in navigating high-traffic and residential environments while performing essential backing maneuvers. The job includes responsibilities for safely handling containers that may weigh over 1,000 pounds. Key Responsibilities: Drive safely, following all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and DOT requirements. Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of your vehicle and document findings. Report any unsafe situations or service-related issues immediately. Participate in training programs and team meetings. Work with Operations Management to enhance route efficiencies. Communicate any incidents, road blockages, or customer requests promptly. Ensure all waste containers are completely emptied and the area is left clean. Complete assigned documentation and assist fellow team members as needed. Qualifications: Required: 1 year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL, or equivalent military driving experience within the last 7 years. Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work. CDL Class A or B with air-brake endorsement is required. Preferred: High School Diploma or GED. Physical Requirements: This job involves a variety of physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and maneuvering heavy containers.
