Senior Coverage Banker We are seeking a senior coverage banker who will provide comprehensive coverage of the specialty finance and mortgage finance segments. This includes consumer lending, debt buyers/collectors, commercial lending, and mortgage origination and servicing. The individual will drive origination opportunities for multiple products and maintain a deep understanding of opportunities, risks, and trends in these industries. The role requires collaboration with internal risk/underwriting teams, investment banking, asset-backed securitization, debt capital markets, equity capital markets, and treasury/liquidity services. Responsibilities include partnering with portfolio management, corporate finance, capital markets, and risk management. The candidate will focus on developing new relationships through a rigorous prospect calling effort, driving client relationship and profitability, and cross-selling the full slate of bank products. They will interact with senior management of public and privately owned companies and private equity firms' portfolio companies, develop new relationships, and present financial solutions. The individual will also influence and function well in a team environment, maintain trust and confidence with senior line and risk management, and possess comprehensive written and verbal communication skills. Experience required includes 7+ years of specialty finance/mortgage corporate banking/corporate finance experience, competency in client relationship management, financial analysis, and credit structuring. The candidate should be a seasoned, credit trained banker with experience in negotiation, loan structuring, and managing large credit exposures. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent work experience is required, with a master's degree preferred. Series 79 or 7 & 63 licenses or ability to get licenses are also required. Hours per week: 40. Work schedule: Monday - Friday. Pay transparency: The salary range for this position is $230,000 - $275,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, relevant skills, and experience.
