Wage and Hour Associate - Disputes, Claims & Investigations Stout is looking for a motivated Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join our Disputes, Claims & Investigations (DCI) Wage and Hour practice. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits, a 401(k), and the potential for annual bonuses. At Stout, we specialize in high-stakes business litigation and economic consulting. As an Associate, you will collaborate closely with seasoned professionals and subject-matter experts to conduct in-depth analyses of complex data. Key Contributions You Will Make Execute and support detailed data analyses related to wage and hour disputes and investigations. Develop sound methodologies and analytical approaches for defensible conclusions. Ensure projects meet deadlines, stay within scope, and maintain high-quality standards. Build strong relationships within project teams to foster collaboration and efficiency. Create client-facing deliverables that effectively communicate findings and insights. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Review and analyze large, complex datasets to support litigation and consulting efforts. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while anticipating various factors like scope, timing, and budget. Assist in developing work plans, methodologies, and resource requirements to achieve optimal project outcomes. Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and navigate client expectations. Support the preparation of written analyses, reports, and presentations for clients and other stakeholders. Utilize creative problem-solving techniques to address risks and analytical challenges. Qualifications You Bring A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Economics, Mathematics, or related fields. 2-5 years of experience in wage and hour consulting or a closely related area. Familiarity with advanced data management and analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, STATA, R, or similar platforms. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively and work well within cross-functional teams.
