The Opportunity We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to enhance our data-driven claims operations. You will support the claims portfolio through data analysis, reporting, and the development of insightful dashboards. Communicating findings to executives and senior leadership is key, as you synthesize claims data from multiple sources to create comprehensive narratives. Responsibilities Collaborate across MRSNA departments to provide meaningful insights from claims data through accurate dashboards and reports. Conduct in-depth analyses to support planning, forecasting, and capacity management. Develop a robust understanding of claims severity and frequency trends and contribute to complex analyses. Create new data visualizations and improve existing reports by utilizing various data warehouses at MRSNA (Duck Creek, ISyCL, IRDW, Snowflake, FSRI, Universal, Bridge). Document processes and governance, including data dictionaries, to ensure operational continuity. Assist in the quarterly Outlier review process for MR Group reporting and financial recommendations. Qualifications BA/BS required; MS preferred in Data Science, Business Analysis, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years in P&C insurance industry and technical data analysis with advanced SQL proficiency. Experienced in data visualization tools like Power BI and strong capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint. A track record of effective collaboration across multifunctional teams and strong communication with executive leadership. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset. Innovative approach to improving operational efficiencies and influencing change. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively under tight deadlines.
