HVAC Installer Technician

OVERVIEW Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Installer Technician! You will play a crucial role in the installation of HVAC systems, hood systems, refrigeration systems, food service equipment, and shelving in new stores, rebuilds, and remodels. Additionally, you will install new equipment for exciting menu rollouts. RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned) Install and troubleshoot mechanical equipment including Refrigeration Units, HVAC units, duct work, food service equipment, hood systems, and shelving according to an action plan and quality standards. Ensure proper balancing of HVAC systems, fryer hoods, and dishwasher hoods. Coordinate and schedule all equipment installation activities in the absence of site leadership. Follow all safety regulations as per federal, state, local, and company requirements to ensure a safe working environment. Read, write, and follow instructions, including blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams. Utilize hand and power tools effectively, and demonstrate the ability to distinguish colors. Complete accurate paperwork, including work orders, labor hours, warranty cards, equipment transfers, new store checklists, DOT logs, vehicle inspections, and weekly transaction logs for procurement cards. Barcode and document equipment to track warranties and analyze reliability, maintenance issues, and technical support needs. Complete all assigned work efficiently and in accordance with company standards. QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma/GED required. Technical/Trade training is necessary. Experience: No prior experience required with a skilled trade or an apprenticeship completion certificate; however, a minimum of 1 year of hands-on training experience in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or a related trade is required. Licenses/Certifications: Must possess a valid Driver's License and EPA certifications - license I and II. Tools & Equipment: Familiarity with general office equipment, hand tools (hammer, measuring devices, wrench, level, etc.), power tools (saws, drill press, grinders, sanders, etc.), welding tools (torch, plasma cutter, welder, etc.), motorized equipment (generators, pressure washer, fork lift, etc.), and reclaimer, balometer.
