This role is responsible for inspecting losses, developing accurate mitigation estimates, and working closely with operations teams, adjusters, and clients to ensure timely approvals and execution.The ideal candidate has strong field knowledge, understands insurance-driven mitigation scopes, and can produce clear, defensible estimates aligned with industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct on-site inspections for water, mold, and fire lossesDevelop detailed mitigation and demolition estimates using XactimateIdentify scope based on category/class of loss and industry best practicesPrepare and submit estimates, documentation, photos, and reportsCommunicate effectively with adjusters, property managers, and homeownersSupport operations with scope clarification and change ordersAssist with moisture mapping, documentation, and job file complianceCoordinate with third-party vendors for testing (asbestos, mold, lead, etc.)Ensure estimates align with carrier guidelines and company standardsQualificationsMinimum 1year+ experience estimating mitigation/restoration workStrong working knowledge of Xactimate (required)Understanding of water categories, drying principles, and mold protocolsFamiliarity with insurance claims processes and adjuster communicationAbility to read moisture data and field documentationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProfessional communication skills (written and verbal)Valid driver’s license and clean driving recordPreferred (Not Required)IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT)Experience with large-loss or commercial claimsFamiliarity with SERVPRO systems and standardsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experiencePerformance-based incentivesCompany vehicle or mileage reimbursementPhone and technology supportGrowth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organizationWhy Join UsStrong operational support and leadershipConsistent workflow and established insurance relationshipsClear processes and expectationsOpportunity to grow into senior estimating or management rolesAll employees of a SERVPRO® Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated SERVPRO® Franchise.
