Minimum Data Set (MDS) Coordinator / Registered Nurse

Scope of Work / Responsibilities:Provide licensed RN services for Radcliff Veterans Center Maintain credentialing, references, drug test, background check, and TB test Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality Participate in interdisciplinary team Develop diagnosis list and determine primary diagnosis Coordinate assessment calendars and MDS scheduling Conduct admission tracking and MDS completion Complete nursing sections and interdisciplinary care plans Transmit MDS to CMS/VA and review validation reports Provide regulatory monitoring, training, and coaching to facility staff Review Medicare resident progress notes Provide monthly site visits Assist with restorative nursing education and regulatory compliance Maintain malpractice insurance and meet vaccination/training requirements Qualifications:Must hold Registered Nursing (RN) license CPR certification required Experience with MDS and RAI processes Prior consulting/auditing experience related to regulatory compliance, MDS coding, QAPI, and 5-Star rating preferred Experience working with Medicare/Medicaid long-term care providers preferred Ability to process high volume of data accurately Saratoga Medical Center, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate in recruiting, hiring, training, promotion, transfer, discharge, compensation, or any other term or condition of employment on the basis of race, religion, color, age (over age 39), sex, national origin, or disability if the employee can perform the essential functions of the job, with a reasonable accommodation if necessary.
