Job Description: As a Fountain Soda Machine Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair fountain soda machines at various client locations. Your role will involve troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure machines operate efficiently, while providing outstanding customer service. You will directly interact with customers, ensuring their machines are functioning optimally and offering technical support as needed. Responsibilities: Installation & Setup: Install new fountain soda machines at customer locations, ensuring they operate safely and effectively. Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of fountain soda machines, focusing on carbonation, refrigeration, and dispensing systems. Customer Support: Deliver excellent customer service by addressing questions, explaining machine operations, and meeting customer needs. System Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, or water flow problems. Record Keeping: Keep accurate service logs, inventory records, and customer feedback. Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and industry regulations related to the installation and repair of beverage equipment. Travel: Travel to customer locations, ensuring timely and effective service delivery. Requirements: Experience: 1-2 years of experience in installing or repairing fountain soda machines, commercial refrigeration, or other similar technical roles. Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components. Familiarity with electrical wiring, refrigeration systems, and water filtration is a plus. Problem Solving: Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to think critically when addressing technical issues. Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and professionalism in customer interactions. Physical Demands: Capable of lifting and carrying heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and remaining on your feet for extended periods. Valid Driver's License: Clean driving record and reliable transportation for traveling to job sites. Certifications: EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification, HVAC certification, or other technical qualifications are preferred but not required.
