Summary You will serve as a TECHNICAL TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR in the Command Operations Division and Training Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. The incumbent serves as the Support Equipment (SE) Operator Training and Licensing Program Manager in support of the Support Equipment Operator Training and Licensing Program along with instruction on T/M/S aircraft support equipment operation and administration of Phase II exams to production personnel. Responsibilities You will be required to have extensive experience and knowledge of the Support Equipment Operator Training and Licensing Program. You will direct dialogue on SE Program matters with fleet technical representatives, Equipment Specialists, SE/Platform Model Managers, In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEA), and training facilities. You will act as the subject matter expert and responsible for development, preparation, delivery, update, review and maintenance of instructional material, and laboratory related equipment. You will conduct lectures and participate in advanced technical discussions, and/or participate in planning and developing or evaluating and revising the curriculum. You will properly organize, illustrate, and interpret course material, to give expression to the abstract principles and concepts associated with the subject matter, and make substantive recommendations for changes to courses. You will recommend substantive course improvements and independently plan and carry out training sessions within prescribed course framework. You will perform required audits on the program utilizing Computerized Self Evaluation Checklist (CSEC) and entering results into Document Management WorkFlow (DMWF)/eCAMS. You will be responsible for the scheduling of all initial training, certifications/licensing, initial and annual program audits, and coordination of obtaining materials as required in support of the SE Program. You will have to complete Navy Instructor Training Course (NEC 9502/805A) as well as a have a designation letter signed by the Commanding Officer granting signing authority for issuing Aviation Support Equipment Licenses. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Supporting equipment training, licensing and audit processes; 2) Instructing technical training courses; 3) Ensuring training and production requirements are satisfied and artisans are qualified to perform assigned duties; 4) Demonstrating a thorough understanding of Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL) and supply support systems to facilitate overall program effectiveness; 5) Performing administrative duties to draft, process and track documents and records; and 6) Working independently, making decisions, planning operations, showing job responsibility, and exercising initiative.
